Hi, I’m Barbara.

I didn’t come from tech. Before any of this, I worked as a SEN 1:1 teaching assistant — supporting a child with additional needs, one-on-one, every day. It’s a job built entirely around patience, and around breaking things down until they finally make sense to someone who’s stuck. Turns out that’s exactly the skill this blog runs on.

What I always had, even before any of that, was a pull toward making things. Not for social media, not for likes — just the actual act of creating something out of nothing. When I found AI tools, that’s what caught me. Here was a way to build images and videos that used to take a full studio, a camera crew, and a few hundred dollars, and do it myself, from my laptop.

I started sharing what I made. People noticed. They asked how I did it, then they asked if I could do it for their brand. That’s how the client work started — not a business plan, just people responding to what I was already making for fun.

This blog exists because I remember exactly how overwhelming AI looked from the outside. Every tutorial assumed you already knew ten things you didn’t. Every “beginner guide” buried the actual answer under jargon. I’m writing the version I wish I’d had — plain English, no tech degree required, no pretending this is harder than it is.

If you’re a small business owner, a creator, or just someone who’s curious and tired of feeling behind, you’re in the right place.

And if you’d rather skip the learning curve entirely and just want professional AI content made for your brand — photos, product visuals, video — that’s what I do at Mr & Mrs Digital. Come say hi.
